About the discipline
Phygital Football is the fusion of traditional football and the digital universe. More than a game, it’s a new way to experience the sport, where physical and digital complement each other to create a unique, immersive and interactive experience on and off the field.
How it works
The same roster competes in both the digital stage and the physical stage.
The match kicks off in the video game: players build their strategy, set their formation and take on their opponents in the digital arena.
The on-screen result carries over to the physical match. Cards and fouls in the digital stage can turn into real disadvantages, like starting a player down; a strong performance earns advantages.
Technical skill and strategic intelligence across both stages decide the winner of each matchup.
Format
At sign-up, each member provides their name, nickname, email, phone number, date of birth, jersey number, role, photo and Instagram handle (optional).
Minimum 6, maximum 8 main players.
Optional, with the same details as the main players.
Coach plus up to 2 coaching staff or media members.
U16, U17, U18, U20, Amateur, Professional, Women’s and Masters.
